What is The 10% Fund

One day while I was about to go to sleep, I was listening one of my favorite speakers, Jim Rohn. He was talking about money, and one of the statements he made went something like this: “Give 10% out of every dollar to a worthy cause, something you get to give back to society. And that nothing teaches character more than generosity.” When I heard that, I thought wow, what a great philosophy, the second thing I thought was, how am I going to do that? 

At that time I didn’t know where I was going to get the money, how it was going to happen. But then he said, "start when the amounts are small," you see it’s easy to give 10% of a 100 dollars. Somebody might say, if I had a million I’d give 10%, would you? 10% of a million is 100,000 dollars. And that’s when it clicked for me, it’s not the amount that matters, it’s the philosophy. 

Look, I didn’t start this fund to boast about how we donate to a worthy cause. I started it because I wanted to make generosity a cornerstone of this company, and my life. I want giving to be a core value with everything we do, in fact, 10% of all the money I generate from all my endeavors goes to this fund. And most importantly, I hope it inspires you to do the same. You don’t have to buy any products to be generous, you can donate to whatever cause you like that brings the change you want to see in the world. Because I hope one day you realize, just like I did, that the only thing you can do in this life, is give.

10% of all profits will go towards charities listed here as well as other contributions such as donations to local schools and other projects.
